On the games front, you can snag discounts on newcomers such as Anthem ($30, but $24 on Amazon), Days Gone (down from $60 to $40), Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice ($48), Kingdom Hearts III ($36 or $30 on Amazon) and the Resident Evil 2 remake ($36). Other big hitters have discounts as well, including NBA 2K19 ($3), Spider-Man ($20), God of War ($20), Hitman 2 ($24), Mortal Kombat 11 ($50), Red Dead Redemption 2 ($39 or $35 on Amazon), Grand Theft Auto V ($15), The Division 2 ($39) and the Shadow of the Colossus remake ($13).

Elsewhere, you can save on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ($30), Battlefield V ($24), Batman: Arkham Knight ($6), Detroit: Become Human ($8) and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey ($24). Meanwhile, a string of PlayStation Hits titles are down from $20 to $10, including The Last of Us, the Uncharted series, Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank. The sale runs until June 17th. Microsoft is running a similar sale for Xbox One, and you can check out some of the best deals over here.

The 4K version of the console will be $100 cheaper through June 17th. Various bundles are available for $400. Like other Xbox One S bundles, you’ll get $50 off the Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition bundle ($250), as well as the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition ($200). There are discounts on controllers too.

And then, of course, you can save on a huge number of games until June 17th, including quite a number of recent releases. Anthem is on sale for $30 (though Amazon has a version for $24) and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is down from $60 to $48. Other relative newcomers including Kingdom Hearts III ($30), Mortal Kombat 11 ($50), The Division 2 ($39) and the Resident Evil 2 remake ($36) are on sale too.

You can snap up plenty of other games at a discount over the next 10 days, such as Red Dead Redemption 2 ($35), Battlefield V ($28), Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ($32) and Sea of Thieves ($25). Also worth checking out are Hitman 2 ($24), Mega Man 11 ($17), Monster Hunter: World ($20), Star Wars Battlefront II ($7.50) and Titanfall 2 ($4.50).

You can expect daily deals as well. Today’s is half off Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Digital Deluxe Edition, which has dropped to $50. Meanwhile, Sony is running its own PS4 Days of Play sale tied to E3, and you can check out some of the more notable deals here.

It’s not the first time the Call of Duty series has based a map on the infamous Bay Area prison. The Mob of the Dead zombies map is also set on Alcatraz, and there will be zombies for you to tackle in the Blackout map too. The trailer also suggests you’ll be able to take down your enemies with a flamethrower.

With Treyarch and Activation facing fierce competition from the likes of Fortnite, Apex Legends, Battlefield V and others in a crowded battle royale marketplace, a new map based on such a recognizable location might help it draw in players new and old. In other news, Blackout will also once again have a free trial. You’ll be able to play it gratis for the rest of the month starting April 2nd, though you’ll need an Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus subscription to join in on consoles.
