The difficulty will ramp up the higher you go, and on every 10th level, you’ll enter a boss battle. Should you overcome that foe, you’ll get a reprieve. You’ll be able to start future runs at one floor higher than that (i.e. the 11th floor, the 21st and so on), so you won’t need to complete the entire thing in one go.

As noted by Kotaku, Summit draw sfrom the Underground mode from the first game, which saw players battle through a New York subway system that had randomized elements. It also sounds reminiscent of The Raid, an excellent 2011 martial arts film in which an elite police squad fights through a high-rise building run by a drug lord, or even Dredd.

Given that much of The Division 2 is set largely in inner-city streets, Summit could freshen things up quite a bit. It’ll give veteran players who’re looking for great loot a new challenge and offer relative newcomers a different way to level up their characters

Summit, which is the tentpole feature of The Division 2’s third season, will be available for free to players who’ve bought the Warlords of New York expansion. It’s not entirely clear when the mode will go live on all platforms, but it’ll likely be fairly soon. PC players will be able to test it out starting Friday.

With so many live sporting events canceled due to COVID-19, fans are turning to esports. But even those are facing pandemic-related setbacks and delays. This spring, Konami promised that its free Euro 2020 update for eFootball PES 2020 would be ready on April 30th. Later, Konami postponed the update indefinitely when the European Football Championship was delayed a year. Now, the publisher says it has made a few adjustments and Euro 2020 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 4th.

The DLC will still feature all 55 national teams and detailed recreations of Wembley and Saint Petersburg stadiums. UEFA Euro 2020 featured players, themed matchdays and other in-game events are still planned but subject to change. The official Team of the Tournament will no longer be released. Konami planned to add the official Euro 2020 finals ball in late June, but now, it will include the ball in the June 4th release.

For the first time in 33 years, Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise the role of Dutch from 1987’s Predator movie. On May 26th, you’ll be able to play as Major Alan Schaefer in multiplayer shooter Predator: Hunting Grounds, provided you’re willing to buy the game’s upcoming paid DLC. 

On the same day, developer Illfonic plans to release free downloadable content that will detail what Dutch has been up to since the events of the original Predator through a series of collectible audio logs. Unlike the records that are already in the game, you’ll earn these by leveling up your account — so no need to try and find them in the middle of a match. As part of the paid DLC, you’ll also get early access to the QR5 “Hammerhead” Rifle and Dutch’s knife. 

Whatever you think of Doom Eternal right now, id and Bethesda are determined to spice it up going forward. They’ve hinted at what’s coming next for the hellish shooter, starting with a preview of the game’s first free update. The simply titled Update 1 release will tweak core mechanics in a number of ways, including “Empowered Demons” that throw a wildcard into single-player games. If a demon kills a player in the story mode, Doom tosses that creature into someone else’s game with upgraded stats. You may face a rude surprise in the middle of a seemingly ordinary level, although you will get bonus supplies and experience points if you avenge your fellow player.

Update 1 will also refine the multiplayer Battlemode with Denuvo Anticheat protection, an updated tutorial, Echelon Leveling for players who’ve reached the cap and a death report to help you out in the middle of a fight. And if you’re irked by some of the gameplay in solo story play, you’ll be glad to know there will be tweaks to “balance concerns and annoyances.”

Last year Nintendo promised a two-part release of extra content for Luigi’s Mansion 3, all scheduled to arrive before July 31st. Part one of the $10 DLC pack went on sale in early March, and now Part 2 is here.

Both halves of the DLC add three additional competitive ScreamPark minigames, and three new themes for its four-player co-op mode, as well as new ghosts and costumes. Nick Summers didn’t find the game lacking for content when he reviewed it last fall, but if you’re tired of playing the same things over and over it should put a little more life into the game for those times when you need an Animal Crossing: New Horizons break.

The new world and the campaign are the main draws, but you’ll also see a host of new weapons, mods and cosmetics.

Guns, Love and Tentacles is included in either the Super Deluxe Edition of Borderlands 3 or the Season Pass, but you can also buy it separately for $15 if you’re only interested in this expansion. You don’t need to have played the main storyline to get started, though. You’ll need to have access to the starship Sanctuary III if you want to use an existing character, but you can also create a new persona and bypass the opening of the primary story to get straight to the new material. With that said, it’s probably worth playing through at least some of the core story first. These characters have significant history (including in B2 for Hammerlock), and it’ll make more sense to dive in once you understand their backgrounds.

If you purchase the first pack, you’ll get three new mini-games for the multiplayer ScreamPark mode: DodgeBrawl lets you play dodgeball with poltergeists, River Bank will have you dodging logs coming down a waterfall as you collect coins, and Tricky Ghost Hunt will have you battling ghosts while navigating a floor that can damage you with electricity.

You’ll also get three costumes for the co-op ScareScraper mode. Each costume comes with themed levels and ghosts, so you’ll see different environments and battle different enemies, depending on what you’re wearing. Finally, you’ll get a Flashlight Type-P, an in-game Polterpup light, that you can use in both modes. You can get a peek of what the DLC pack can add to your game below:

There’s more Kingdom Hearts coming to Xbox One later this month. Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind — a DLC side story that takes place just before the game’s final battle — will come out on February 25th. Additionally, Kingdom Hearts III will be available to play as part of Xbox Game Pass starting on the same day.

If you’ve never played a Kingdom Hearts game and own an Xbox One, now is a good time to start. The mainline games are fantastic action RPGs that meld the worlds of Final Fantasy and Disney movies. And while the plot makes absolutely no sense, the nostalgia and gameplay more than make up for that.

The first pack will add three new mini-games for the multiplayer ScreamPark mode. It also comes with three new outfits for Mario’s taller brother along with matching floor themes, as well as themed ghosts for the co-op ScareScraper mode. You’ll also find an item called the Flashlight Type-P, an in-game Polterpup light that players can use in both modes, with the bundle.

Once you’re done with the mini games from the first pack, you can look forward to three more ScreamPark mini-games shipping with the second pack. You’re also getting three more ScareScraper outfits with matching floor themes and themed ghosts.
