You can also expect to see the next phase of the NBA 2K Players Tournament at 6PM, when players like Devin Booker and Andre Drummond hitting the virtual basketball court. After that, much of the programming involves recaps. The first three hours of the marathon are recaps of Madden NFL 20 competitions like the Classic, Club Championship and Challenge, while Apex Legends fans can revisit the EXP Pro-Am at 10PM.

Whether or not you see more like this may depend on viewership, but it’s easy to see ESPN doing this again. Without conventional sports to show during the pandemic, much of the network’s very reason for being has gone away. Events like Esports Day give ESPN something to offer until it’s safe enough to resume in-person competition.

Starting Sunday, several drivers will square off in the F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix series, using the PC version of F1 2019 and playing remotely for safety reasons. First up is the Virtual Bahrain Grand Prix on what was supposed to be the second weekend of the actual F1 season.

The virtual race will be 28 laps long, half as many as the real-life grand prix lasts, and it’ll be preceded by a qualifying session to determine grid positions. You’ll be able to watch it all go down live on the F1 YouTube, Twitch and Facebook channels at 3PM ET.

At least until May, there’ll be a virtual grand prix on each corresponding race weekend. On the other weekends, there’ll be exhibition races, giving fans the chance to compete against actual Formula 1 drivers in the game.

The virtual grand prix series is just for fun. There are no actual F1 points at stake. That’s just as well, because some drivers are more familiar with the game than others. To level the playing field, they’ll use cars with the same performance and reduced vehicle damage, while newbies who have less experience can use traction control and anti-lock brakes.

Since Aston Martin first teased the Rapide E back in 2015, the supercar has suffered multiple setbacks. After a false start courtesy of LeEco and the financial meltdown the Chinese company went through in 2017, Aston Martin said it would produce 155 Rapide Es in time for 2019. Earlier this month, however, Automaker published a report that said Aston Martin had decided to turn the car into a research project.

Had it gone into production, Aston Martin claimed the Rapide E’s 800V twin electric motor would have outputted the equivalent of 604 horsepower and pushed the car to a top speed of 155 miles per hour. The car’s 65 kWh battery, meanwhile, would have allowed the Rapide E to achieve a range of 200 plus miles.
