One of the most important questions in video games these days is Can You Pet The Dog? After all, even in the bleakest of virtual worlds, you want to show some affection to a good doggo. That’s why Humble has teamed up with the Twitter account of the same name to highlight eight games that feature dog petting. For $5, you’ll be able to get titles like Shenmue 1 & 2, Death’s Gambit and Scribblenauts Unlimited. Push that to $12, and you’ll also be able to bag Blair Witch, complete with the Good Boy Pack.

Humble’s bundles are for charity, and so you’re encouraged to offer more than the bare minimum to get these titles. As usual, you can decide where your money goes, and the three charities included this time are the Humane Society of the United States, Sweet Farm and the Best Friends Animal Society. Humble says that the total cost of the bundle, if bought full price, is $161, so don’t feel too stingy given the scale of the bargain you’re getting.

Itch.io’s recent mega-bundle won’t be your only option to buy games in return for contributing to the quests to solve racial inequity and inequality. Humble has launched a Fight for Racial Justice bundle that provides $1,200 in games, books and comics for a pledge of $30 or more. You’ll have until June 23rd to get it, but all proceeds will go directly to justice groups like the Bail Project, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Race Forward. All of the games are available on Steam, and some of those titles (plus all of the books and comics) are free of copy protection — and you’ll definitely recognize some of them if you’re steeped in the gaming scene.

There are some relatively big (if not always current) titles in the mix, including BioShock Remastered, Elite Dangerous, NBA 2K20 and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. However, this is also an indie gamer’s paradise between titles like FTL, Hyper Light Drifter and Spelunky. If there’s a game you’ve been meaning to try, there’s a good chance it’s on the list. You’ll also get a free month of Humble Choice if you sign up.

There’s a lot in this bundle, including epic strategy game Into the Breach, puzzle drama The Witness, time-bending VR shooter Superhot, and graphic adventure Broken Age. Hollow Knight, Undertale, Psychonauts and Tilt Brush are great choices, too. And then there’s the comics. Locke & Key has just been turned into a decent Netflix series, while The Boys is now a hit Amazon show. And fans of Saga know its inclusion speaks for itself.

With Into the Breach alone on sale for $15 on Steam at the moment, the bundle represents massive savings, and it’ll provide plenty of entertainment while you’re stuck indoors because of the very crisis this bundle is raising money to fight. It’s only available for a week though, so don’t hang around.

The excellent Hollow Knight headlines the collection. Other highlights include Void Bastards, The Stillness of the Wind and Machinarium. In all, there are 29 games in the bundle, with a total value of more than $400. Each of the titles has some connection to the country. Hollow Knight, for instance, was developed by Team Cherry, a three-person studio based out of Adelaide, South Australia. Paperbark, meanwhile, stars a cute wombat who makes their home in the country’s iconic outback.

Humble will donate 100 percent of the money it makes off the collection to RSPCA Australia, WIRES, the World Wildlife Fund and the Australian Red Cross. If you haven’t bought a Humble Bundle in the past, $25 is the minimum you need to donate to get access to the games in the package. You can pledge more if you have the means and desire to do so. At the time of writing, Humble has sold approximately 25,000 bundles.

As of January 8th, the bushfires in Australia have scorched approximately 10.7 million hectares of land, a total area that’s bigger than all of South Korea. Additionally, at least 28 people and an estimated one billion animals have died directly from the disaster. The koala population in New South Wales, in particular, has suffered grievously from the fires.
